| Country Club Knolls is a quiet Kailua neighborhood tucked between the Mid Pac Golf Course and Lanikai Elementary School and is made up of just over 100 households. The subdivision doesn’t have any through streets, and as one of the neighbors within this quaint niche of a cul-de-sac neighborhood, I appreciate that the only people driving through Country Club Knolls are its residents or their guests. Home prices range between $900,000 and $1.5 Million and sit on lot sizes between 7,500 and 10,000 sf. I hiked up and got this overview picture of Country Club Knolls, I love it here! What makes Country Club Knolls so special is that, unlike our neighbors in Lanikai and Kawailoa, we have sidewalks that allow our kids to safely ride their bikes and skateboards on, and owners to walk their dogs along. In addition, we don’t have the buses, traffic, and beach crowds that can clog the nearby roadways. Our little oasis allows us to roll our kayaks down to the soft, white sands of Kailua Beach within a few minutes, or take a short walk and indulge in a Mai Tai at Buzz’s around the corner, or exercise around the nearby Lanikai Loop. The upper section of Country Club Knolls has panoramic views of the turquoise hues of Kailua Bay and Enchanted Lakes in the distance, but they do have a little more of a walk to get to the beach park than the folks on Alala Road, which is on the lower strip of Country Club Knolls adjacent to Lanikai Elementary School. Overall, the neighborhood fosters a tight-knit sense of community, is very stable and typically, there are just a handful of homes that are listed and sold in any given year. We are a very welcoming community, but don’t go out of your way to spread the word - we enjoy the solitude and hearken back to a time when Kailua was much simpler and folks introduced one another and their dogs and even had an annual Cul-De-Sac Soiree to bring us all together. Just the way we like it. If you would like to find out more about Country Club Knolls, (or anywhere on Oahu) please contact me today! I would love to help you find your perfect Hawaii home. |
